Here is the firefighter cake for the party at the firestation. The flames were handpainted using red, orange, yellow, and black food coloring and turned out really well.

Stay tuned for the real version of this Indiana Jones concept cake. It is going to have a "good" side featuring a happy Indiana Jones and an "evil" side complete with crystal alien skull and lots of slimy snakes.

This is the evil side of the cake. Ooh La scary!

Firetruck Cupcakes

This may not look like much of anything but will soon be turned into Firetrucks. This picture shows the red bodies of the trucks which were made using rectangular brownie cutters with round edges. The cutter used has three of the shapes on one cutter which helped get these done quicker. The white ladder pieces were cut by hand.

Almost done; this picture shows the firetrucks with their wheels. The white spots on the firetrucks are from powdered sugar that got dusted off before they were attached to the cupcakes.

The completed Firetruck cupcakes with "flame" icing. The ladders where finished by painting on black food coloring. The flames where done using red, orange, and yellow food coloring.

Handpainted Flowers

I love doing hand painting on cakes. These flowers were just randomly
painted on freehand with food coloring and then the fondant flowers were added. This was for a tea party and inside is a strawberry cake with cream cheese pineapple filling - very girly.

30th Birthday

This was for a 30th surprise birthday for someone who is very outgoing and loves bright colors. The cake was designed by the birthday girls best friend. This was a Red Velvet cake with white chocolate filling.

Easter

Easter cake with bunny, chicks, eggs, and flowers. The inside of the cake was devils food with cream cheese filling.
